What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish room, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down work surfaces, storage areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking tools in designated areas to ensure easy access for the kitchen and serving teams.
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, such as unloading deliveries, stocking supplies, and cleaning food preparation areas—supporting the overall flow of the kitchen during busy shifts.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, and keep garbage containers clean and sanitized to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (gloves, non-slip shoes) and handling cleaning chemicals safely.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- No prior experience required—we provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates (less than 1 month of training needed)!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay focused, and maintain efficiency during peak hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods (entire shifts), lift up to 50 pounds, and frequently bend, stoop, and reach.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player—able to communicate effectively with kitchen and serving staff.
- No formal educational credential required; a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.
