Your Mission Behind the Wheel: The Core of the Job
As a professional driver with our fleet, your responsibilities extend far beyond simply operating a vehicle. You are a manager of safety, time, and valuable cargo. Your typical assignment will involve:
- Pre-Trip & Safety: Every day begins with a meticulous pre-trip inspection of your tractor and trailer. Checking tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and securing loads are non-negotiable safety protocols that protect you and everyone on the road.
- Efficient Operation: You will plan your routes (often with dispatcher support), drive for extended periods while strictly adhering to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, and maintain detailed electronic or paper logs. Modern fleets equip trucks with advanced technology for navigation, fuel efficiency, and communication.
- Cargo Stewardship: You are responsible for the securement and integrity of your load. This may involve operating lift gates, using load locks and straps, managing temperature-controlled trailers (reefers), and meticulously verifying shipping documentation upon pickup and delivery.
- Customer Interface: You are the face of our company at delivery points. Professional interaction with warehouse personnel, receivers, and sometimes the general public is key. This includes solving minor delivery challenges and accurately noting any exceptions.
- Post-Trip & Maintenance: Reporting any vehicle defects, ensuring the truck is fueled and ready for the next shift, and completing all necessary paperwork are essential closing duties.
Working days: 6 days weekly (Monday - Saturday) Working hours: 8am to 5pm Salary Package: Basic salary + allowance + OT pay AWS + Performance Bonus Benefits: Company vehicle provided (can request for vehicle drive home) Season parking & Diesel provided Medical and Leave Benefits Job Scope (Responsibilities): Safely and timely deliver frozen products to customers Maintain positive attitude with customers Load and unload cargo Able to carry up to 15kg ctns (if required) Skill in using GPS Follow traffic laws Refuel and clean vehicle Inspect trucks and record issues Keep activities log and log hours

- Annual Earnings: When calculated annually, full-time company drivers can expect to earn between $65,000 and $95,000+ per year. Experienced drivers in specialized niches (like tanker, hazmat, or oversized loads) or those with flawless records can command compensation at the higher end of this spectrum and beyond.

The Requirements & Your Career Path
To qualify, you must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). We support obtaining this through reputable training programs. A clean driving record and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen are mandatory. For certain freight, endorsements like Tanker (N), Hazmat (H), or Doubles/Triples (T) are valuable and can increase pay.
Driving offers a clear career trajectory. From an entry-level company driver, you can advance to become a trainer, a dedicated fleet driver for premium accounts, or move into operations/dispatch. Many experienced drivers also successfully transition to becoming owner-operators, running their own small business with our support.
